A four-day workshop on Participatory Project Proposal Making Training Workshop was conducted for thirteen community-based organizations at Guiuan, Eastern Samar on September 27-30, 2016.
This is part of the phases of workshops relating to building resilient communities following the devastation wrought by typhoon Yolanda.
The workshop discussed community needs analyses; drafting of community’s project proposal; and, increasing participants’ knowledge on project conceptualization and development to improve their relations with local government and with intervening institutions.
During the workshops, Department of Agriculture (DA), Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), Department of Science and Technology (DOST), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the Municipal Local Government of Guiuan presented their programs and services to participants.
Carino Antequisa was the main resource person and consultant in this activity.
The workshop was held at La Luna Beach Resort, Sulangan, Guiuan, Eastern Samar.
